The Bone Sparrow
I enjoyed this book because the main character, Subhi , was very naïve and didn't know much of the world around him because he was born in a detention centre. His sister and mother would rarely talk about anything outside the fence but always said they would someday get out of there. I really liked how Subhi was naïve because it gave the atmosphere a kind of innocence. In the end, he and his family had made a plan with a woman to help everyone get out. I like how it didn't go into lots of detail and left the readers wondering exactly what they did and if they in the end did get out. Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot and would recommend it to others.
