Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

Frank Cottrell Boyce's story is about a young boy called Prez and a strange visitor named Sputnik who everyone seems to think is a dog. As it turns out, Sputnik has a mission; make a list of 10 interesting things on Earth that are worth saving. Prez is the only human being that Sputnik can speak to. When Prez finds out he only has one summer to "literally save the world", he suggests many things for Sputnik to put on the list. However, Sputnik's list is very different from how Prez imagined it would be.

This illustrated book by Boyce reminds us to see the value in the little things in life. The information presented in the story are all based on real scientific research and content.

Dive into Prez and Sputnik's adventures as they add more things worth saving to their list that will stop Earth from being destroyed. Beneath all the comedy and laughter, Cottrell Boyce subtlely includes his messages to readers. Boyce does not fail to deliver yet another astounding piece of work that will burrow itself deep within your heart and mind.
