The Bone Sparrow

What an amazing book! The way it was written really made me think about all those people that this book is real life to. The story is about a refugee called Subhi who has known nothing but living inside a detention centre, he can't understand why everyone is so angry about life there as he has known nothing else. But he then meets Jimmie, a girl who is just longing to be able to read. As the book unfolds the friendship of the two just seems to develop until they are willing to risk their lives for each other. The whole book is based on facts and knowledge to show the world how fortunate we are, it flowed really well and I just couldn't put it down! It is my favourite so far as it has such a strong plot and message that there is no way I could not give it a 5!
