Anila, King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls

Wolf Hollow

Wolf Hollow by Lauren Wolfe is a fantastically well-written book. Following the life of Annabelle, Wolf Hollow tells a tale of hardship and struggle, as she strives to get justice for Toby, a lone outcast of society. Suddenly ,Betty a mean rude girl from the city goes missing and everyone seems to be directing the blame at one person. In some aspects, it reminded me of To Kill A Mockingbird.
This was a book I thoroughly enjoyed,it was particularly intriguing to see how strong-minded one town's views can be. With Annabelle as the lead character, it was heart-warming to see how she did not let go of her own personal belief, and did everything in her power to uncover the truth. She was not blinded by the untruthful judgement made by the town, she stuck to what she believed and was determined not be persuaded otherwise.
Overall, I loved this book, it is something I definitely recommend to anyone 12+, that enjoys a good tale of determination and has a read or is a fan of the classic To Kill A Mockingbird.I am 100% going to put this in my worthwhile reads.
