Sophie, Sir John's Shadowers
I enjoyed this book much more than I expected, and it was a shorter and easier read that the previous book. Annabelle's friendship with Betty was interesting, as Betty was mean, yet Annabelle still wished they could get along. I think it is rare for someone to want to be friends with their bully. The mystery of where Betty went was good, and having to cover for Toby would have been what many people would have had to have done. It was the best Carnegie book that I have read so far and I would definitely recommend it to others.
