Freddie, Sidcot School
I really enjoyed this book. The dark atmosphere and sense of tension was a really nice change from the dull, generic and linear stories for our age group. The cold hearted antagonists manage to keep a sense of humanity, making their reality all the more eerie.
Overall this book is very well structured with interesting protagonists that you empathise with. I would suggest this to anybody tired of the current popular genres and especially to Michael Morpurgo fans.
