Megan, Ecclesbourne School

The Bone Sparrow

This book was about a refugee in Australia who's mother becomes ill and his sister seems like she's always angry , and when his best friend for years gets moved to another part of the camp it seems like everything is going wrong. I found this book quite sad in parts but also very heart warming in the presence of a loyal friendship. My favourite part in this book is the idea of no matter where you are you can always here the sound of the night sea. The worst parts in this book are probably the saddest parts as well. I would recommend this book for all ages and anyone who wants a lovely story based off real life.
