Railhead

At first I was apprehensive about reading Railhead as the blurb didn't make it out to be very action packed or interesting. But boy was I wrong! It turned out that Philip Reeve had invented a universe where almost anything could be a reality. In fact, you could make hundreds of stories set in the same places and it wouldn't get boring with so many possibilities. I will be expectantly awaiting the arrival of the second in the series. In conclusion, I will give it a 10/10, something I don't usually give to books. If I had to pick a bad point it would be that we were introduced to more alien creatures like the Hive Monks.
