Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

Sputnik’s Guide to Life on Earth stood out to me as it was very different to books I have read before, and not just in the Carnegie. The way it pieced all together was vibrant, especially the dog Laika.
Overall however, I found this book rather simple and easy to read, it never really entertained me to read it and I never was particularly enthusiastic to turn the next page. In many places where it could have become thrilling kind-of flopped, though I did love the character Jessie as she seemed to be very relatable to the reader, Feeling the same emotions of wariness and determination that many kids would feel. Overall, this book was a long shot from being my preferred but at the same time wasn’t too bad, I would recommend this book to others and look forward to my next Carnegie!
