Emily, King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls
Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth
I really enjoyed this book, however when compared to the other Carnegie books its average reading age must be a lot lower. However, it was an enjoyable break from reading books about more serious topics, and I enjoyed the fact that it had pictures, a rare thing in a book not for very young children. It was very humorous and light-hearted, and I am glad it is on this list as it is definitely not a book I would have read otherwise. However, it my opinion it is still nowhere near comparable to the other books on this list.
