The blurb of Wolf Hollow enticed me in with promises of a gripping story full of lies and secrets. I was sold. However upon reading the book it was at the sheer dullness of the story line that grabbed me rather than excitement. Although it was probably written for a slightly younger person, I was bored by the first half of the book talking about the bully, and found it rather generic like any other classic school bully. The way the protagonist Annabelle cared for the lost wanderer Toby was cute but not particularly brilliant. Overall, it was a well written book, but rather dull in the story line, and I'm afraid rather predictable.
