Lois, Sutton Girls

The Stars at Oktober Bend

It was a difficult to read because Alice (the narrarator) has a speech disorder so it was difficult to understand what was going on. It was a good book because it was from Alice's point of view so you got to experience the life through her eyes. There was some ups and down to her life but you felt as if you were there.

There is another main character 'Manny' and he has a few chapters that are written from his point of view. Theses chapters are important because they make more sense about what is happening.

Overall I would recommend it but it wasn't really my favourite book.
