Allan, de Stafford School

Railhead is a truly remarkable book full of mystery, drama and it is jam packed full of action. The genius that is the literature of Philip Reeve, his writing will have you hooked onto the story in a few short sentences. The new and alien technology leaves you full of curiosity. There is a lot of fast paced action scenes that is sure to get you excited and yearning to find out what will happen next. Now the author has come up with very memorable characters. There is the main character Zen Starling. He lives in a slum with his hot-tempered sister and his mother who has a constant fear that the family is being followed and traced wherever they happened to go. This isn’t helped by the fact that Zen is in fact a thief who rides the rails just for the sheer thrill of it. However then all of a sudden one day a girl turns up out of the blue, telling Zen to come with her for the trip of his boring life. The best part is he gets to steal a mysterious and seemingly ordinary box. This story has so many twists and turns that you just see what is coming around the corner next. There are a few tragedies in this story and lots of scenes with hot blooded action. However, if you want to know what happens next, you will have to find out for yourself. I would highly recommend it to anybody as it would capture you instantly and won’t let you go. With its genius literature the tale of Zen Starling and his adventures won’t let you put the book down even for an instant. It’s really good so go and read it right now.
