Wolf Hollow

I originally read Wolf Hollow about a year ago, however it has stuck with me a for a very long time, which is obviously demonstrative of how amazing I thought this book was. I have read it again and my love for this book has just grown. Admittedly, I found this book quite slow to start, but once Betty went missing, the book gripped me immediately and I couldn't wait to find out what happened. I felt that Annabel's character was the perfect protagonist as she was everything a heroine should be - she was down to earth, intelligent, courageous, noble and willing to do anything for those in need. Despite Betty's nasty qualities, Annabel tried desperately to find her and meanwhile, uncover the truth. Finally, I absolutely adored Toby and even though he is a character in a book, I held great admiration for him. His character was really intriguing and added to the story brilliantly. Furthermore, despite my love for this character, I would definitely not change the ending, because I think it gave such an unexpected plot twist, which I thought ended the novel brilliantly. I would give this book an 8/10. :)
