Elizabeth , Sir William Borlase's Grammar School
Salt to the Sea
This book, I didn't enjoy as much. Set in ww2 Germany, you discover the stories of all the characters and the secrets hidden by them. However, the beginning is very slow, so you have to be patient. The secrets hidden by the characters do slowly tear them apart. Many promises are made, but not all kept after all, this is war. This book made me feel like reading it was a chore, until after halfway when it all starts to kick off. If like me, you are an impatient reader like me, I don't suggest reading this book for relaxation. Although full of emotion, it lacks action. This book is very descriptive and therefore you are able to imagine what the surroundings are like very clearly.
