The Stars at Oktober Bend

I think The Starts AT Oktober Bend was an amazing book and I would definitely recommend it. It takes a few chapters to fully get into it but after that you can't put it down. Each chapter leaves you in suspense so that you just have to read as the mysteries unfold. I think that it is beautifully written and has amazing layout. Sometimes it goes into poem layout as that is one of the themes of the book, I think that is fantastic. This book made me feel so many different emotions as I read. Joy, excitement and sadness. I was near tears a few times because I was so moved by the plot. The fact that Glenda Millard has based this book on issues that we have in our own economy is amazing as it is easy to forget that these things do happen and the outcomes haunt people forever. If I was asked to give this book a rating out of ten then I would give it a 9 as I struggled to understand the book at first because the first few chapters didn't make much sense.
