Ben, Turton & Edgworth C.E. Methodist Primary School

There is a Tribe of Kids

This book is mainly a picture book with descriptive sentences. At the start, I thought it was a little bit boring, but it grew on me the more I read, because it got funnier and more interesting. I like the part at the end where it showed the tribe of kids (humans), and how that was different from the kids (goats) at the start of the book. I also found the gorillas funny.
The language reminds me of poetry, and my favourite line was "There was an army of caterpillars". The pictures are really nice and they are full of detailed illustrations. There are lots to see in the pictures. I would recommend this book to children aged 3-7, and to teachers to do in literacy lessons. I would give it 7/10.
