Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth
Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth was a great book. It had a simple but effective plot, with a few twists along the way. Even though I was not the target age group, I felt a real connection to the characters and thought we could all relate to Prez's problems and concerns about his grandfather and what he was going through. I thought Sputnik being a sort of dog was a bit much, but at the same time really clever. All though this is branded as a Sci-Fi book, I think the underlying story was about a boy and his grandad, and their struggles. I think Sputnik just made Prez get to this point. The point where him and his grandad shared an even stronger, more special bond. Overall, a great book! One of my favourites!
