The Bone Sparrow
The Bone Sparrow was very eye-opening to me; never in a million years if someone told me to think about what an immigration centre looked like would I describe it the way it was described in The Bone Sparrow. My jaw dropped when I found out how people were treated and it drew me in more to the book in a way, because in the society we live in today no one thinks about how people are treated in immigration centes. Subhi was an inspiration to me and the whole book was a rollercoaster ride to me. However I personnally do not agree with the ending of this book. The book was really too thrilling to end how it did, nevertheless it was still a brilliant read.
