Benedict, Ermysted's

Beck

This was a very good book. Despite the fact that the subject matter was quite an unusual one, it really was well written and well described. The twists in the story were shocking yet brilliant; like when the brothers seemed nice and merciful, but they actually were child abuse offenders. These twists really made the book. I think it was one of the best books in the Carnegie, and one of the best books I've ever read.
