The Stars at Oktober Bend

'the stars at oktober bend' is a really strange but interesting book. At the start I was extremely bored at how nothing was explained to the reader and the fact that there are no capital letters in the chapters of Alice took me by surprise. I also didn't like how Alice wrote her poems, for me they didn't make sense and were too confusing, but the way the author doesn't tell us the story all at once makes me want to read more and more.I know it might be a spoiler for people who didn't finished the book yet, but I have to admit that the idea of the flood at the end of the book, the way we finally find out who done such a horrible thing to Alice, the dark past of Manny and what happened to his sister really made the whole book worth it to spend your time on!!!
