The title described what happened in the story very effectively. Inspired by many stories of refugees, The Journey is about a family of refugees fleeing from their country to be safe from the war which ahs already killed their father. They travel first by car then are smuggled by van but then they have to bypass the border wall after a mean guard stops them. So then they pay a man they didn't know to help them get pass the border, then they take a boat to a safe place. You can see why it is called the Journey. I do like this book because it expanded my knowledge of the refugees. I would recommend this book to a friend. I give it 9 and a half out of ten.
