The Bone Sparrow

The Bone Sparrow is a book about a child called Subhi who has been in a refugee camp since he was born and shows us what the camps are like from his point of view.

The good things about the book is that it shows us the adventure that a guy from a refugee camp goes through, and how it can end badly. It shows us what the people in the camp suffer from and how some go on hunger strikes, as well as how unfairly the refugees are treated in the camp.

However, the thing I don't like at the end is how the main character kind of lets bad things happen, which I sadly can't talk about as they would cause spoilers.

So to sumerise, I think that the book can be exciting as you read through it, but that the ending is kind of underwhelming. However, I think that people should read it to find out about the experiences of people in refugee camps.
