Josie, RIDGEWOOD SCHOOL
Beck is one of those books that hooks you in from the beginning as you become part of his tragic story. I found the way Beck was written made the book engaging because just as you had became enrolled in his new life his misfortune would return as he was forced to move on. It is a story of new beginnings and terrible endings. I would recommend Beck to anyone who has a stomach for horribly real books that are entwined in history. Beck is real. Beck is haunting. Yet within the sadness, is a beautifully written book that I can promise will engage and enthral you.
