The Smell of Other People's Houses
'The Smell of Other People's Houses' by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock is an interesting book which tells the story from four different perspectives. We feel sorry for each character as each of them either have no parents (in Ruth's case), their parents are divorced (in Alyce's case), their father is dead and their mother is dating another man (in Hank's case) or their parents have left them (in Dora's case). It is very fascinating to see everyone grow up and them taking responsibility for their own lives. I would definitely recommend this book as it is very thought-provoking.
