The Smell of Other People's Houses
I thought the ending to this book was very good but the way that it was written wasn't. This book was written with four different points of view with one per chapter. The chapters were so long that I found it very confusing about where the characters were and forgot the rest of the story when I got to a new chapter. At the start it was even worse because all the characters were in different places and I couldn't remember who they were. To make this book better I definitely think they should have used shorter chapters because that layout worked very well in "Salt to the Sea".
My favourite part was definitely the end when they were all reunited. My favourite character was Ruth because I'd never read a story which included someone going to an Abbey or about nuns. I thought that part was very good to include because there aren't many books on that subject.
