The Bone Sparrow
The Bone Sparrow: how to describe it in four words-
realistic, in-depth, inspirational and emotional.
It was eye-opening and once I had started the book it became impossible to put down.
The descriptions and the style of the writing sold it to me. The writer of this intriguing diary is a boy of ten years old and it is his perspective of life in a refugee camp. Life in the camp is harsh. It is a battle of survival and Subhi has to rely on Eli,his best friend, to save him from the Jackets who supervised the regime until he meets Jimmie, a girl from the Outside.
