The Smell of Other People's Houses

I think that this book was written really well and I enjoyed reading it.It took a while to get into it though because since it was from the point of view of four different people it was 4 whole chapters before i had finished getting to know everyone. I really enjoyed reading about all four children's individual adventures but I felt that they didn't meet each other that much, especially Dora. I might have preferred it if the book either just focused on one person or the characters interacted with each other a bit more. I think that the characters were really good as they were all likeable and the time as well as place it was set was really good. Fairbanks was a great community where everybody knew each other and so three of these four characters already knew each other before they went on their adventures which I think that the strong friendship they already had made the story more enjoyable. the book was really good and the chapter ends were often on a cliff hanger which made you want to read on. I also think that the story being from the people's point of view was great because that way I could read about how they felt which was definitely an important part of the story.
