Caleb, St Bede's Inter-Church School

'Railhead' is a really enjoyable book to read. It has a extremely well thought out world that the reader can actually relate to as it is supposed to be set in our galaxy as there are references to mars and earth making this book seem all the more believable. I thought that the plot was, though a little predictable at times, well thought through with several twists and turns that kept you fully engaged. The characters all seemed reasonably believable, especially the main character who had a consistent character throughout and was well developed. I also liked the twist at the end. can we trust all the facts we take for granted? Maybe chocolate isn't bad for you?! Overall I thought this was an enjoyable book set in a fabulously realistic world that kept me engaged as well as challenging me. It is definitely a book worth reading!
