Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth was a different book to what I usually read - it personally wasn't to my taste, but that's not to say it was a bad book; it was clearly written for a different audience, and I can appreciate how the story and humour in it would appeal to younger readers.
I did like the portrayal of the relationship between Prez and his grandfather, as its exploration of memories, sentiment and the way people can change as they grow older, added a deeper meaning to the story than just the comic elements.
