Amelia , Skinners' Kent Academy Shadowers

Salt to the Sea

This book is one of the best books of the Carnegie Medal series up there with stars at oktober bend for me it was just so emotional and I am now really interested in Wilhelm Grustoff the ship they were on. This book redused me to tears in the last 20 pages. My favourite character has got to be Emelia becuse she was a fighter from beginning to end and I defiantly hated Alfred. The whole book was original and I would like to say fun but it was quite somber to read in a good way. The shoe poet definitely made me laugh and managed to brighten the mood. I defiantly recommend this book it is so emotional But the book left me with one question, What happend to Eva?
