The Bone Sparrow
This is one of the best books I've read because it's so interesting and real! I would recommend this book for 11+ because there's such a good moral in the story that the little ones won't really understand.
This book is about Subhi, a simple kid, and his family and friends. His sister,Queenie, and their friend,Eli, want to show the world the conditions they live in at the detention centre.
At first I didn't know if I liked the book that much but as I read on, it made more and more sense and it got more suspenseful at the end. Also, the character Subhi loves imagining things and sometimes, in the book, you can't quite tell when Subhi is dreaming or if it's actually real.
Overall, I give this book a 9 out of 10!
