The Bone Sparrow

The Bone Sparrow is a very moving and eye-opening book which I really enjoyed. Although it was a bit hard to get into at the start, it became more intriguing throughout the story. I liked the fact that it was told through two different people's perspectives as it gave the plot more layers and also showed how different life was for those on 'the Outside' than those on 'the Inside'. In my opinion, it is a sad story that imaginatively shows what life was like for some refugees. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes realistic and moving books.
