I thought that Wolf Hollow was a really nice book, it had a good story line and plot and I understand why it has been nominated for the Carnegie award. The story line was about a girl, who lived on a farm, named Annabelle. Annabelle gets bullied by Betty, who is new to the area. Betty has a particular hate towards ex-soldier, Toby, who lives alone in a little hut deep into the woods. When Betty goes to try and set fire to Toby's hut, she falls into the well, injuring himself. Betty is missing for many days and it is Annabelle who finds her, and it is Annabelle who has to try to prove Toby's innocence (it is thought that he pushed her in the well). The only negative from my perspective is that I think it is better for children slightly younger than me!
