Salt to the Sea
At the start of this book I found it quite confusing and I didn't really enjoy it. However as I read more I understood better and the book was more enjoyable. I feel the characters were portrayed well but I feel Alfred was an unnecessary character near the start. This book is set in ww2 abroad so I found it interesting to see how it effected others even from a fictional point of view.
Overall I enjoyed this book even though it is not my usual genre.
