This book is very heartfelt: it reaches all ages and explains what happens and what life is like for refugees. The story is about a mother of two struggling to survive and stay safe. She cares dearly about her children and is trying to stay strong through her journey.Throughout the story there is a black hand shaped figure which slowly overtakes their life: I think that resembles war and how it is ruining their lives.
This book makes me think about how lucky I am and that sometimes I take things for granted. The author has spread the word about refugees and made people aware that there are people out there who need help.Hopefully the audience will help out and change the lives of refugees everywhere.
