I thought it was very... leaving-women-at-home-to-cook-while-men-go-out. It could do with a bit less death and hatred, though it helped me to understand how you can fight your own battles.
Annabelle is [I think] a very mature young girl who is self-confident in her own ways. She is a kind big sister who trusts and cares for who ever is in need of her help.
I'm vey interested in the period of time it is set in, and this is what made me enjoy it so much!
