The Stars at Oktober Bend

"The Stars At Oktober Bend" is a very interesting story. It proves everyone has a voice. The main character Alice who seems to be a normal teenager. But on the inside, she is lost, lost within her thoughts. Sometimes she cannot string her sentences together. To be honest at the start, it was quite hard to understand what Alice is trying to say.Throughout the book you slowly understand everything.

This book can easily be misunderstood. So I would recommend this book for 10 and above. At the start of the book, I was a bit confused with Alice's character. The more you read, the more you learn about the characters(especially Alice and Manny)
It is like a jigsaw that all slots in at the end. Altogether i found The Stars at Oktober Bend a very good book to read. I would rate this book 9/10 for the way it is written. This is a book which is quite different from all the books i have read.
