The story of, 'Beck', is a story about a black orphan who doesn't know his father and who's mother died when he was very little. Since then he has been in the care of nuns. That is until suddenly, he is moved to Canada to live in an house of orphans. And from there, Beck escapes and has a journey of a lifetime. Meeting nice people to mean people. Getting lucky and getting very unlucky. In my opinion, this book is extraordinary and I loved every second of it. However, I would not recommend anybody below the age of 11 should read it as there are some very graphic scenes. So watch out for that.
