Salt to the Sea
I really enjoyed reading this book. It shone light on an incident that was severe and serious, but that was never talked or learnt about. I liked the format of the book and how each few pages is from another character's perspective. At some points it made it confusing, but then that made it better because it then all unraveled and all fit together. It was a moving, emotional story and showed that the Second World War didn't only affect certain countries and it really showed how much it affected people. This book was very well written and I would definitely recommend it.
