The Smell of Other People's Houses
This is a story of four teenagers who talk about their life in Alaska. They each have different stories. Ruth is a girl who lives with her strict grandmother. Alyce is struggling to escape town. Dora lives with a friend as she is avoiding her parents. Hank is running away from life with his younger brothers.
My thought on this book was it is not good. I didn’t really enjoy the story or the plot. When I read, I was not really excited to continue (like Sputnik’s Guide to Life on Earth). I think the book is targeted to 16 and over as younger ages may not enjoy. Because of this, i give it 2 stars out of 5.
