Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

Sputnik's Guide To Life On Earth is a quirky and different book, like others that Frank Cottrell Boyce, the author, has written. I think this book would generally appeal to people of the younger generation, consequently I did not really enjoy this book much. However, many have and will enjoy this book because of the unusual story lying within its pages and the unorthodox plot line.
The warm hearted family of the Blythes, who are looking after the main character Prez, are turned from a happy, calm family to one of extreme haywire and a life full of events.
I think this book would appeal mainly to boys aged 7-12.
