Elizabeth, Sacred Heart Shadowers
The Smell of Other People's Houses
This book is a meaningful story that effortlessly describes the varied experiences of four different people and portrays how events intertwine these experiences and the effects it has on their lives. This book is well written enough to easily describe life in Alaska in the 70's and the way this affects character's outlook on life. It takes key events from this time period and shows the personal way it relates to real peoples lives. The one thing wrong with this book might be that it can get a bit confusing with the four different point of views. This aside, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes real life stories.
