Amy, Sir William Borlase's Grammar School

Railhead is a futuristic book, involving a young thief's trips along the railway and through the 'k-bhan junctions.'
The concept of the book is good- with the trains that seem to just jump from one galaxy to another, and giving trains 'thoughts and feelings.' Despite this, I found the plot slow-moving and the book was difficult to finish, even though I enjoy my books.
The plot is also not too complex, meaning that you quite often (not all the time) guess what is going to happen. It is also quite difficult to follow, although it is not very complex, it will suddenly introduce new characters or concepts without properly explaining them- making the reader confused.
