Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

This book is a simple book, that is quite easy to read.
It follows the tale of Prez Mellows who is living on a farm with his foster parents for the summer. He does not usually speak, however, when 'Sputnik Mellows' turns up on the doorstep his life changes. No-one can really agree on what Sputnik looks like, most think that he is some form of dog (again no-one can agree what), but to Prez he looks human. When Sputnik announces to Prez that the world is going to be destroyed by the end of the summer and it is up to Prez to save it the book picks up.
I found this book an easy read, however, it can be amusing- not in the way that you laugh out loud, but it lifts the corners of your mouth.
I think the ending could have been extended as it all ended very abruptly without properly explaining what happened.
