Klara, Sir John's Shadowers

Wolf Hollow

Wolf Hollow by Lauren Wolk is, well... amazing. I would say that this is my favourite Carnegie book so far! Set in western Pennsylvania, just after the World War 2, where a young girl called Annabelle lives. She has a somewhat uneventful, though happy life... that is until a malicious bully called Betty comes along. All the cruel things that Betty does are blamed on a strange, quiet survivor of the war: Toby. Annabelle has to help Toby when everyone has turned on him. Can she find a way to prove him innocent before the police find him? I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who would like a good, emotional read. Overall I would rate this book 4/5.
