The Smell of Other People's Houses
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Each chapter was related to a person and their lives, in the end, all collide. The writing was very descriptive and I really connected with all of the characters. I read the book in 2 and a half days because it gripped me so much. Some parts are very deep like the life of the poor people and how some of the children were beaten. The smell of other peoples houses was also a good title as it not only refers to certain moments in the book but also when a reader would see the title, then he would think of how other peoples house do smell different. Overall, I believe that this book definitely has a high chance of winning the award. I have also started reading Wolf hollow. I am finding it harder to read but the way the book is written is sweet and innocent just like the girl, Annabelle.
