Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth
I found this book hilarious, exciting and engaging. It starts off with an extremely quiet boy who goes by the name of Prez and gets, temporarily, fostered by a very lively family. I liked the way the author develops Prez’s character and the friendship between Sputnik and Prez. I also liked the way that the author incorporates the mature themes in a humorous way such as dementia, which the grandfather has, and the hint of autism that Prez may have. I also like the way Sputnik is a very straight forward character, he is the type of character that thinks that everything he does is right and if someone has a different opinion then that person is wrong. Finally if I was to rate this book it would be a 5* because it is very imaginative and interesting.
