The Bone Sparrow

The Bone Sparrow is a moving and inspiring book. It alternates between two different points of view, Subhi, a refugee born in an immigration detention centre, and Jimmie, a girl from the 'Outside'. Character development was good throughout the book, with a nice contrast between Subhi and Jimmie's personalities. Most importantly though, it was moving, and made me really understand the situation of refugees all around the world.
Rating Out of 10: 7( because it was so moving) 6( on story)
