Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth
When I first started reading it, I didn't think I'd be able to get into it as much as I had for the other Carnegie books I had read, simply because I felt it was targeted at a lower age audience. However, after about 15 pages in, I'd became completely immersed and found myself living each and every adventure as if I was there. It had the right balance of sadness to happiness, to make the story feel as if it was an anecdote I'd lived through myself. It's a simple piece of literature that give's you as much emotion and enjoyment as a complex piece of writing can.
